Ryan and Ashley were married at Benham’s Grove, Centerville, Ohio on October 4th.  Ashley choose to use Friction and Vendula roses with green hydranges, wax flowers for her bridal  bouquets and this was quite fitting for an Autumn wedding. The photographer for the wedding was Nixon Photography and they
have had many award winning photograph of weddings.

Roses are a favorite of brides and are available in a variety of colors.  The bride and bridesmaids can carry a single rose with greens, or more elaborate bouquet styles to suit the taste of bride’s choice and budget.

Your wedding was beautiful, and now you want to continue the experience during the reception. The table decorations should complement and not distract from the event. Generally it’s important to have floral designs that encourage across-the-table conversation. We can provide tasteful arrangements that meet the bride’s expectations.

A Day at Brook Lodge

Brook Lodge is a beautiful site for weddings and receptions in the Battle Creek, Michigan.  It is a gorgeous setting  for an outdoor wedding, and the food is excellent.  Every year they host an open house for brides featuring wedding related vendors.

Roses are a favorite of brides (and florists too) and quality roses are available year round in a variety of colors.  Roses can be used with greens and other flowers or just as the picture below has wax flowers and accents of rhinestones the bouquet.

At yesterday’s event at Brook Lodge, I took a number of centerpieces which could be used at a wedding ceremony and  reception.  Arrangements can be as simple,  as  large brandy sniffer with flowers floated in them, or as complex as arrangements of calla lilies in an Eiffel  tower vase

Corsages

March 7th, 2009 by Sharon

The chosen women of the wedding party outside of the bridesmaids usually are recognized and included in the event through their own floral corsages. The corsage should compliment the woman’s dress and may be either pinned on the dress, or worn as wrist corsage or a small tussie mussie. The selection of flowers usually depends on the size of the corsage, so that it present a total integrated look for the wedding.
